The property was located pretty central to everything in Phnom Penh, the staff were lovely & welcoming, & it was nice to chat to the owner. The rooms were big, bathrooms were also huge which was a bonus. AC was very good. Drink & food was available downstairs. The information the hotel sent us upon booking was very informative and helpful if it’s your first time in Cambodia.

There was food left in the fridge from the previous guests, the fridge was also quite dirty, we cleaned it down ourselves. The bed was also quite firm & the sheets were stained, although they may have been clean, the stains can put people off. The seals on the bathroom shower screen could do with being redone as the bathroom would flood easily after a shower, Other than that, it was an adequate stay for the price.

Un vrai cocon à 2 pas du palais royal. Chambre familiale spacieuse, très propre, bien aménagée. Personnel très sympa. Gérant français, plein de bons conseils. Merci pour tout

Conveniently located. Polite staff.

- Dirty and Stained bedspreads. We had to flag this to the staff who changed it just before bed. - The bathroom wasn’t well equipped, and by that I mean not even a tumbler to store a tooth brush/tooth paste was present, no hand towels (only body towel) and no hand wash/ soap was provided next to the sink. - No vegan/ vegetarian options for breakfast. - The latch to lock the toilet was broken and no latch to lock it from outside, which meant that the person who’s side of the bed was next to the toilet had to sleep with an open door to the toilet. - The AC did not function fully and it would take 20 minutes for the room to cool down. - My biggest problem was the check out process. I went down at 7:00 to settle my bill and check out and no staff or receptionist seemed awake enough to attend to me. They did not have a card machine. Their QR code was broken and I couldn’t scan and pay. They did not even have change for a 100$ bill when I offered cash and they had to run around in the neighbourhood to find change while my cab was waiting. They asked me to do a bank transfer but the IBAN/ SWIFT CODE was in France and no address of the recipient was provided, so online bank transfer was also impossible. It was an extremely frustrating, time consuming experience.
