Great spot, very quaint and I loved the historic feel of the house with all the original interiors. Felt like home!

Netherby Guesthouse is located right on the river with breathtaking views and a gorgeous cafe onsite for a delicious breakfast or lunch. The house is historic with superb original features - high ceilings, with a big wide verandah where you can soak in the sunset over the river. My room was comfortable and tastefully appointed. Really super and the host was so kind and accommodating.
Some rooms didn't have an ensuite. The bathroom was just across the hall from my room, which was fine, but next time I'd pick a room with an ensuite.

The location is exceptional. Loved the ambience of the river view. The property has an interesting history which can be felt as soon as you arrive.
The owner’s hospitality was outstanding.
There was nothing to not like.

A lovely quiet out of the way location on the river.
Looked tired inside and lacked a feeling of make yourself at home, although that was encouraged by the owner. There was no water heating available for a tea or coffee; although the kitchen was open to guests. The house inside generally needs clearing up so that there is somewhere to relax inside. Front balcony is very nice over the river.
