Great hotel for the Peak District

The room was very warm and small but adequate. Great shower. The property manger was very nice. The food in the restaurant had a diverse and unusual choices and tasted excellent.
Overall the building needs some tlc as most walls and doors looked scruffy and marked. The recent restaurant additional looks very nice and smart.

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I arrived a few hours before check in and I was allowed to go up to my room early which was nice as it meant I didn’t have to carry my heavy bag around
I ate out but there is a lovely Indian restaurant on site for those that wanted to eat in
Bed was a little on the hard side for me but I still slept okay…and the bath was the best part of the whole room specially after a long day of hiking
