Perfect location, very nice contact with the owner, everything was nice and clean. I strongly recommend this place when visiting Catania. I appreciated a lot that we were able to check in earlier and also leave our luggage after the check out when we were waiting for the late afternoon flight.

You just cannot beat the location. It is extremely central yet on a quiet street. I felt safe and was able to navigate the historic part easily at night.

The entire business service model is based on absolute convenience to the owner - at the cost of the guests. One may argue that the 100% self check-in system based online is state of the art technology. However it clearly is for cost saving. You enter the flat made up of four rooms and there is no-one. I arrived 7pmish. I had no soap in the room. I had to exchange numerous messages via Booking to inform the host and justify my most basic expectation as to have soap to wash my hands with in the bathroom. I was told to go and fetch it from the sink in the common area. I was cold at night. There was only a thin sheet left as cover (as apparently there were issues with the laundry). There are no cabinets etc in the room and nothing left for the guests to pick up in case it is a cooler night. Also do not stay in Camara 4. My bathroom was the only access to a "staff only" housekeeping storage area. The house keeper had to go through my room the next day to grab stuff. It just is not ideal. But again - all design is for the convenience of the owner and not the guest.
