Enjoy a relaxing vacation in our high-quality, non-smoking attic apartment in a quiet location in Reit im Winkl. The main apartment sleeps up to four people and features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious living/dining area. Underfloor heating and a wood-burning stove—with firewood included—ensure a cozy atmosphere. Two southwest-facing balconies offer plenty of sunshine and mountain views.
For five or six guests, a separate 20-m² apartment is also available, featuring a bedroom, refrigerator, coffee maker, and breakfast tableware. A crib, high chair, stroller, and hiking carrier are available upon request. Dogs are welcome by arrangement; other pets are not permitted.
The town center, shopping, public transportation, and the ski bus are all within easy walking distance. A garage for bicycles and skis, ski boot warmers, and storage spaces are available. Free Wi-Fi and a private laundry room with a washer and dryer are provided. Please note: The apartment is located on the 1st floor without an elevator.

This one-room apartment, newly and luxuriously furnished in 2022, offers a retreat for 1–2 people with its own entrance in a space of approximately 20 m². The open-concept living/sleeping area features plenty of Swiss stone pine, whose scent creates a warm, alpine atmosphere. Amenities include a double bed, a seating area for two, a high-quality TV, and free Wi-Fi. The private bathroom features a shower, toilet, and sink.
A refrigerator, coffee maker, and dishes are available for a light breakfast. There is no full kitchen or cooking facilities. On the west-facing balcony, you can enjoy fresh mountain air and beautiful sunsets.
Towels, bed linens, and basic cleaning supplies are provided free of charge. Bicycles and skis can be stored safely in the garage, which features a ski boot heater; a parking space is available in front of the property.
The apartment is sunny, centrally located, and quiet on a side street. The town center, shops, restaurants, hiking trails, cross-country ski trails, and the ski bus to Winklmoosalm/Steinplatte are all within easy reach. One dog is welcome by arrangement. The apartment is on the 1st floor; no elevator. Ideal for an active vacation or a relaxing getaway for two.
Reit im Winkl is situated at an elevation of about 700 meters in a sunny high valley of the Chiemgau Alps—surrounded by mountain forests, alpine pastures, and a breathtaking panorama. The temperate high-altitude climate ensures pleasant temperatures and cool nights in the summer. Hiking trails, biking routes, and nature experiences begin practically right outside the front door.
In winter, Reit im Winkl delights visitors with an extensive network of cross-country ski trails spanning over 100 kilometers in the valley and at higher elevations. The cross-border Winklmoosalm/Steinplatte ski area, with about 42 kilometers of slopes, is practically right outside the door and offers ideal conditions for families, leisure skiers, and athletic skiers.
The location is also excellent for day trips: Depending on traffic, Lake Chiemsee and Kufstein are about 30 to 40 minutes away, Kitzbühel is about 45 minutes away, and Salzburg is about an hour away. A vacation in Reit im Winkl thus beautifully combines nature, winter sports, hiking, culture, and the Bavarian-Tyrolean way of life.
We’re from Düsseldorf, and in 2016 we fulfilled a long-cherished dream: our own house in Bavaria, nestled in the beautiful mountain landscape of Reit im Winkl.
