I really enjoyed the four-day stay at Warfanin Homestay. I was the only guest and lived on site and on the bay only with the landlord and his extended family. The host is very responsive to WhatsApp and arranging transfer from Waisai was not a problem. The cooked food was marvellous! Although shared wash and toilet facilities, inside the beach hut is a table, chair and outside facing the sea a cushioned sunlounger not always the case I heard. I also had good reception for my Telkomsel SIM card sufficient for WhatsApp video calls. The bay has a little island adjacent with some colourful corals. The landlord lent me his flippers and during high tide is a nice snorkel experience. For the real Marine Park experience, Tarzan Diving Centre (Padi) is just around the corner and they are happy to pick you up and return you. The homestay made me a beautiful lunchbox for the day. There a little path for limited walking into the jungle I did a loop returning on the coast at a low tide. I can only but highly recommend!

Für den Preis super im Vergleich mit anderen Homestays dieser Kategorie. Schöne einsame Lage direkt am Strand . Super Essen, liebevoll und immer frisch gekocht. Mit Abstand das beste was mir in Papua serviert wurde !!!

Die Dusche könnte mal geflickt werden! Kommunikation manchmal etwas schwierig, weil niemand Englisch spricht.
