Apartment was very clean and comfortable . Great location . Very close to everything , bars , restaurants , beach is only a 2 minute walk away . Carlos our host was brilliant . Explained everything perfectly and easy to understand . Complimentary water , fruit juice and milk was left for us upon arrival which was a lovely touch . We also asked for extra bed linen and towels as we were staying for 11 nights . These arrived almost immediately with crisps and sweets in the bag . Another lovely touch . Washing machine in the apartment which is very handy . Cleaning service is available but at an extra cost . All in all it was great except for one thing .
If I had one criticism ( not a complaint ) it would be the air conditioning unit . It's a portable one and in my opinion is totally inadequate . It might not have been too bad if we could have left the door open too let the outlet coil out because the unit generates hot air when on . Cold to the front and hot to the back . We left door open one night and were bitten alive by mosquitoes. A proper air con unit needs to be installed or at the very least an outlet for the outlet coil . There is a fan in the apartment but we ended up buying a couple of extra fans . This is just a suggestion rather than a complaint but it is something guests should be aware of .
