Right in the heart of the town, busy, noisy at times but very convenient to walk to everywhere.
Cottage was old and characterful, with the decor mostly in good condition.
Cleaning was not up to scratch - windows where they were partly hidden by roman blinds were very dusty and full of cobwebs.
Windows on ground floor were locked shut which prevented any ventilation on hot days - yes, good for security but poor for our comfort.
Door to ensuite bathroom was VERY hard to open and close.
