Les Sources de Vougeot

The renovations to the main buildings over the last 2 years have been done to a very high standard. Rooms are modern and now have the benefit of good air conditioning. Restaurant areas are much improved and food remains excellent. The breakfast room is a delight and breakfast food is of a high standard. Staff are very friendly and helpful. But the hotel has two significant problems at the moment. Firstly the large garden to the front of the house is in very poor condition. Previously this was a magnificent lawned area that complimented the grandeur of the main building, but now it looks wild and out of control. Secondly, disabled access is poor. Both the front and back of the main building are now largely pedestrianised. Previously it was possible to drop off a disabled person at the front and back doors of the hotel. The indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub lack any handrails for use by a disabled person. The bathroom for the designated disabled bedroom is not easy to use and has fundamental design mistakes.

Stunningly beautifully restored historic property, and welcoming attentive staff. Highly recommend it.
