We were 3 friends and really liked our stay. The location is great to explore the island. The flat is spacious and has everything you need. We really liked the coffee shop just across the street and down the hill on the right as well as the restaurants right at the coast. The supermarket downstairs is convenient even though expensive.

The building entrance smells like people use it as a bathroom unfortunately, people sit and smoke there, it should really be gated off. There were ants so don't leave food out and we saw a tiny lizard but we understand it's nature. :) Beware the parking entrance is steep but if you decided to drive on Madeira it should be fine.

Lovely clean apartment in a great location. The interior was comfortable and well equipped (both the smart TV and the washing machine were better than home!!) and we had a large patio area where we had both sun and shade. The beds were comfy and both bathrooms were well appointed. There is a decent underground car park and any number of nearby bars and restaurants to choose from. The apartments are also a very short walk to the Lido swimming area. However, what made the apartment so special were the staff and in particular the manager Nelson who was incredibly kind when I had an accident (not at the apartment!) and who gave us so much help and support to get everything we needed to sort everything out. It made a huge difference to how much we were able to enjoy the rest of our holiday, so Nelson, a huge thank you for everything!

Nothing-it was all great.
