Motel Le Grande

Great staff and good accommodation

Location. Room was big enough for us

Wifi was dropping out most of the time.

Conveniently located on the outskirts of town so was quiet but still central, lots of parking options, staff were helpful and check in/out process was quick and easy. The rooms were basic but had all essential items and cleaned daily. They had room service too which I didn't expect but good option to have.

Rooms were a bit outdated, carpet was stained and appeared dirty. A few upgrades would go a long way here.

-Allocated parking -Rubbish bin near by -Comfortable bed

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness and overall condition of the room. It was clear that the room had not been cleaned thoroughly for quite some time. There was a considerable amount of dust throughout the room, including on the curtains, window rails, above the fridge, the flower vase, and the couch. When sunlight came through the windows, the amount of dust floating in the air was clearly visible. What was particularly concerning was the amount of spider webs around the light bulbs and fixtures. This gave the strong impression that these areas had been neglected and not cleaned for a long time. The lighting in the room was also extremely poor, making the room dark and uncomfortable. For a hotel room, basic cleanliness should be a minimum expectation. Unfortunately, the level of dust, spider webs, and general lack of thorough cleaning made our stay quite unpleasant. The management needs to pay much more attention to regular and detailed cleaning, including areas that are easily overlooked.
