Galaxy Motel

The location was convenient. I was a bit nervous however about how old the building looked and thought “ This is totally sketch, I hope we will be safe”. My sister and I thought, let’s remain positive and withhold judgement. The room was actually very spacious and clean. It reminded me of the 70’s. The room was also nice and warm.

I didn’t like that we didn’t have any hot water and so we didn’t shower ( we were only there for 2 nights). We got through it. Also, there were only 2 places to plug in your electronics. Unfortunately, the TV was using one of the outlets. It was fairly quiet both nights. One thing we did not like was that although the sheets were clean, you could still see a lot of previous stains on the sheets. ( Perhaps those sheets should be garbaged and replaced with new sheets). The pillows are the same story. They were very old and stained. My sister and I went and purchased our own pillows and pillow cases as the ones in the room I would not use.

The motel is a little bit old, but room is clean and it was great value for money. The fronddesk is excellent and quick check in

Beds were a little to firm

Location to the venue I needed to be at. Price.

The first room I was put in, had no TV? I was moved to the next room! Which I had to find out had no cold water in it. Could not use the toilet or shower. It was 10:00 pm before the water was fixed. No coffee pots in the rooms?
