Dany and Jess were really friendly and helpful. Even though there was a slight language barrier, we managed to understand each other. The thoughtfulness of their hosting was really lovely, we felt very well looked after, almost as part of the family. We were made aware of what was available to us in a relaxed and informative way. Their whole approach was very friendly and laidback making our stay entirely stress free. Every effort was made to make us feel welcome and cared for but not in an overpowering way. The room was incredible, the space they have created is magnificent, its even nicer than the photos. The tub with the view over the farmlands we particularly enjoyed, as well as the bed which was incredibly comfortable with full electronic function we enjoyed this to watch the massive TV with coffee. The spread they provided for breakfast yet another highlight, we had a selection of cereals, breads, cheeses and cakes, there was no feeling of being rushed or on the clock, it was very relaxed, well prepared and extremely enjoyable. The landscape of the garden was magnificent, very tidy and clean. Swimming in the pool was very therapeutic. The sauna we used a few times, easy to operate and enjoyable. The hot-tub was also beneficial as I was suffering from bad sciatica and a slipped disc this really helped to ease it off over the course of the stay. We also were pleased to meet their little dogs (Rocco, Lilley) cat (Minou) and family members.

The sauna was on the short side for lying down on the bench but I am 6ft 2" so this is quite common. There weren't any coasters for us to use and we were a bit worried to put our cups on the furniture, also there was no rails or horse to hang our wet towels to dry. We didn't mention it to the hosts, I'm pretty sure they would have provided some had we asked.

We stayed one night while walking the GR5 and wished we had stayed longer. From the moment we arrived Dany and Jessica made us feel pampered. Our room was spacious, comfortable, quiet and clean. The property was beautiful with guest access to a sauna, hot tub and heated pool. Our breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. Their two dogs and cat were all friendly and open to strangers. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Unsere Gastgeber Dany und Jessica waren sehr nett, freundlich und zuvorkommend und waren bei allem behilflich. ☺️ Sehr ruhige Lage. Es gab auch eine Sauna und Whirlpool was wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Die Zimmer hatten eine Minibar und man konnte sich Kaffee kochen. Das Frühstück war super. 👍

The location is wonderful halfway down and overlooking a green valley. The owners were very friendly and did their utmost best to accomodate us in English. Breakfast was of the highest quality and more than you could ever wish to eat. The room was spacious and a great combination of old character with modern comfort. The pool/jacuzzi/sauna garden was beautifully designed and maintained creating small seperate spaces maximizing afternoon sunshine.

The only negative for us was that the beds were quite soft and fluffy...but that is of course a very personal thing.
