Everything! The location to the main square was great - the room was by far one of the nicest room I have ever stayed in and I have travelled a lot. Having a pool and a large sauna area, huge room along with all the little touches and being in a great position near restaurants and bars, with excellent communication from the host it was the highlight of our holiday. Matera is one of the most magical places we have ever visited.

Absolutely gorgeous accommodation in a perfect location right in the heart of the Sassi. Beautifully decorated room with modern furniture and amenities.
Loved everything about the property but would advise anyone coming to Matera for one night (like we did) to just pack an overnight bag & leave the rest of your luggage in your car. The area has lots of cobblestones and steps and a small light bag is easier to maneuver instead of a suitcase.
