We thought the site was very pleasant and well laid out. The people at Reception (not part of Blue Water Retreats) were very helpful. The lodge was very clean, comfortable and well laid out and we were able to park next to the lodge. The restaurant on site was good and allowed dogs, so we were able to eat dinner and breakfast there, both of which were good, as was the service.
We did have to walk to the lodge initially to collect the key, which also held the fob to allow entry for our car beyond the reception area, and then walk back to pick up the car and drive it to the lodge. This was unexpected but OK.
