Amazing holiday lodge, brand new and spotless. A home away from home. Situated in the new phase two part of the Leisure Village called Yealands on the site opposite (took us a while to figure out where it was but that’s was our own fault). Although on a separate site, it’s a two minute walk across the road to access the leisure village facilities. Once there the lock box was easy to access, and walked into a spacious, bright and airy living no space. The beds were extremely comfy, all of us slept like logs! The site is currently very quiet as it is in development. Bathrooms were spotless, and a lovely en-suit to the main bedroom. A huge wardrobe and plenty of clean towels available too. A fully equipped kitchen which was great as we did cook over the weekend. We did have a problem with the gas oven lighting, but Tevin explained how to sort it and I’m sure it’ll be fixed soon. If you have children the lodge is very close to the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis and Greenlands Farm Village which are amazing. We had a great day out visiting them both. Tevin as a host was quick with responses when we had a problem with the oven and gave us all the information we needed before our stay. The cleaners little extra touches with the tea towel bow was lovely. We would definitely come back!

Nice and quiet location.

Lack of supplies. The oven and toaster didn't work (we were told about the oven on our way to the property). My wife loves to cook. Who can enjoy cooking without an oven? We were threatened with late fees if we left a little after the check-out time of 10 a.m. After mentioning to the host that it was quite absurd to charge extra given the things that didn't work, he reimbursed us £30. We would've preferred a working kitchen instead
