Elysia Plus Hotel

The location is perfect. You are close to the tram station (T1 line) and the Marmaray metro. The old city, Sultanahmet neighborhood, Eminonu Meydan, Galata Bridge and the Grand Bazaar are also within walking distance. The staff was really hospitable and kind. They made us coffee every morning and carried our suitcases upstairs. The hotel is new, so the interior is really nice.

The hotel is right next to a laundromat, and every day, late at night and early in the morning, we could hear the sound of washing machines during their spin cycle. The sink in the bathroom and the shower both flood easily. We didn’t have any soap for three days, even though we requested it on the first day, and the internet didn’t work for three days. The breakfast is average, with the same food every day. Only the pastries change occasionally. It is also quite unusual that a hotel of this kind doesn’t serve scrambled eggs, for example. I think the hotel has great potential, but it should definitely work on some improvements.

Достатньо хороший готель в самому центрі історичного району. Найголовніша перевага готелю: можна дістатися пішки одразу до багатьох історичних памʼяток і це дуже зручно! Сам номер був хорошим, чистим. Персонал дуже привітний, та відгукується на будь які побажання та потреби.🥰 У номері дуже добре працює Wi-Fi.

З недоліків можу зазначити тільки, що не було гарного виду з вікна ( хоча якщо дивитися праворуч та ліворуч можна побачити Босфор та Блакитну мечеть) Та з дрібниць: не працювало телебачення (але можна було дивитись YouTube), кришка унітазу погано трималась та, особисто мені, не вистачало звичайного стільця

Ich kann das Hotel mit sehr gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen. Das Hotel ist sauber und die Mitarbeiter sind unfassbar freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl. Die Lage ist wirklich sehr gut. Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig und ein paar Meter weiter ist man mitten im Gewusel. Die Straßenbahnhaltestelle Gülhane ist nur etwa 200 Meter entfernt und die Marmaray Station Sirkeci erreicht man in weniger als 100 Metern-also sehr einfach vom Flughafen SAW mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln günstig zu erreichen. Zudem liegt das Hotel sehr zentral. Man kann viele Sehenswürdigkeiten fußläufig erkunden.

Für mich war das wirklich das einzige Manko: Ich hatte explizit ein Zimmer mit Balkon gesucht, damit ich Abends noch etwas draussen sitzen und den Tag ausklingen lassen kann. Die Balkone in diesem Hotel sind eher große Fenster mit Schiebetür und einem kleinen Vorsprung. Man kann dort also nicht raus gehen.
