Rose Hotel Near Yankee Stadium

I love how updated It is . They have smart tvs I loved tht I was able to watch baddies

I was placed on first floor people were yelling and too loud .. it’s a little ghetto

King Size bed. Modern aesthetics. Affordable.

The floors are sticky & dirty. Need to mop floors including bathroom floor thoroughly.

- Subway stations, stores and food spots nearby - Vending machines in the lobby with a nice variery of snacks and drinks - SmartTV - The staff was accommodating for the most part

- The hotel was really noisy during the night; could hear loud music, other guests yelling or loudly having intercourse and the hallways often smelled like weed and cigarette smoke, the elevator smelled so bad that holding breath was necessary - The room was dirty; cigarette butts found under the bathroom sink, burn holes in the duvet, sticky cabinet handles and floors, stained walls and curtains, strong cigarette smell in the room, furniture was all scratched up and the bedsheets have seen better days as well, the bedframe was squeaking with every move which made it really hard to fall asleep, worn out mattress, not a single hook to hang towels in the bathroom, "fresh" towels were just sitting on top of the toilet - There was a kitchenette, but not a single plate or silverware (2 plastic single-use cups only), there was also a hole for an induction stove in the kitchen counter but no induction in it - The smoke alarm was unscrewed from the ceiling (by the state of the room, I'm guessing it was the guests staying in the room prior to our stay) - Our room card-key stopped working at least 3 separate times and we needed to go down to the lobby to get a new one - The booking said that check-out is at 11.30am yet a staff member started banging on our door at 11 asking us to check out. They eventually "let us" stay the extra 30 minutes.
