The Space:

Soak in the serene coastal beauty that surrounds you at Gulf Shores Plantation Dunes. This retreat has been recently updated with all new décor and furnishings. Whether your condo is directly on the Gulf or comes with a less direct view of the Gulf, you'll find yourself in the middle of one of the most beautiful areas of the Gulf Coast - Fort Morgan. Fort Morgan is well known for its peaceful, laid-back atmosphere where vacationers can explore nature at the Bon Secour National Wildlife Sanctuary or the historic Civil War-era Fort Morgan.

The wildlife refuge, which encompasses some of the state's last remaining undisturbed coastal barrier habitat, is home to a variety of wildlife, with more than 360 different species of birds documented on the site. Spring and fall welcome beautiful migratory bird populations as they travel between their breeding and wintering grounds. The refuge is also home to endangered species, including the loggerhead, Kemp's Ridley and green sea turtles as well as the Alabama Beach Mouse.

Historic Fort Morgan is situated on Mobile Point at the end of the scenic Fort Morgan Peninsula. Here, you'll find nature areas, a boat launch, a picnic area and beaches along with an on-site museum and opportunities to learn about the significant role the fort played in the Battle of Mobile Bay in August 1864.

Back at Plantation Dunes, you'll enjoy a variety of resort amenities, such as basketball, shuffleboard and tennis courts; a putting green; a horseshoes pit; a sauna; an indoor pool; a barbecue area; and a volleyball net. Choose Gulf Shores Plantation Dunes for your next vacation, and you'll appreciate the comfort of your condo, the beauty of the natural surroundings and the resort's many amenities.
