Very nice apartments available in District 3, but bordering District 1 (just north of the Pink Church). This area is very lively and is filed with local business, restaurants, cafes, nearby movie theaters, bars, etc. The building has no elevator, so please be sure you're okay climbing some stairs (I was on the 4th floor, and it was a good workout!). The room I had included a nice little balcony where I could sit out and enjoy the weather when it wasn't too insanely hot!
The only thing I didn't like is that, although the apartment has an attached kitchen, it had almost no plates, bowls, cookware, and utensils. You must ask for those to receive them. This is fine, but a few of the things I asked for never arrived (specifically a larger plate for preparing meals), so I went out and bought those for myself. Since it does say that it has a kitchen with all necessary utensils, plates, and cookware, it would be nice if those things were already in the room upon arrival.

The room was very comfortable. The air-conditioning worked in the projection TV was wonderful.
The water in the shower was a little chilly, but that’s OK. I would take quick showers.

Beautiful tile floors, everything was very clean, love the little fridge and AC, very quiet location- no traffic noise at all, very nice to be so near a market area for fresh fruits and vegs, also very good coffee shops are nearby (love Lamaison juice/coffee and Nhat Sourdough bakery especially). Liked the beaded artwork piece. This place felt luxurious because it is so quiet and clean.
The bed- can feel the springs in the mattress, not the most comfortable but not terrible, must have cotton sheets and bedding, not polyester. Even though I liked this place, it seemed a little spendy, but this was my first time in Vietnam and I usually stay in hostels.
