I loved the constant communication from Janette, she was so warm, friendly and welcoming. Janette made us feel really valued almost like family. I give her 10/10 for her hosting skills. It's the little things she does like freshly made brownies and sweets on arrivals, the cute latte sachets she left for us when we were out, the "good morning texts and let me know if there is anything I can do for you" texts. The house is a cute little cottage with all the things that you will find useful during your stay, my friend really appreciated the water bottle as she was cold. The house is solar powered so it was good to function sufficiently without worrying about power outages. I loved the patio, area and actually wish we used it more. Tha location is really perfect as it's short drive to shops (spar), the Dam, little Paris and a few other attractions.

Sometimes network was a bit slow, but then I think it was because the electricity was off in the area

I liked the warmth of the management whom were so friendly and welcoming

Cleanness inside the guest house

We’ve stayed in a lot of guest houses, but Frangipani is truly exceptional. Everything was immaculate, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. We honestly felt like we wanted to make it our home. Janette is the heart of it. She welcomed us so warmly and even baked homemade brownies the morning of our arrival. Having fresh brownies waiting for us in the afternoon was such a lovely surprise. It really shows the care, dedication and effort she puts in always. It’s also pet friendly, which meant the world to us. Our female dog Nunu loved the big grass area in front of the porch — she had the best time running around. We also asked Janette about pet shops in the area and found out she owns two! We visited Snicker Doodles in Harties and the staff were exceptional — so friendly and willing to go out of their way to help. They even took Nunu off our hands so we could move freely around the shop. The staff put in just as much effort as Janette does. It felt like we were locals, not first-time visitors. We went in to have a look and walked out with 2 little rats and everything we needed to care for them. It was so peaceful and beautiful that we’re definitely going to use Frangipani every time we need to stay in the area. We can’t wait to come back for our next visit and experience not just one night like this time, but at least 2 or more nights. If you want a place that feels like home for the whole family, pets included, this is it. 10/10
