The Space:

This 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment welcomes up to 2 guests in the quiet residential enclave of Castellana Gardens, Carolina — a few minutes from San Juan's airport. A comfortable queen bed anchors the bedroom, well suited to a couple, a solo traveler, or anyone passing through for a short layover or a longer remote-work stretch.



Air conditioning and fast WiFi run throughout, so the apartment doubles easily as a workspace between calls or a comfortable spot to unwind after a flight. A dedicated on-site parking spot comes with the unit, so arrival is straightforward from the moment you pull in.



At roughly 500 square feet, it's a compact, no-fuss layout — everything within reach, nothing to manage, whether you're staying one night or several weeks.



Electricity Management



Please be aware that utility interruptions are common throughout Puerto Rico. Since power grid failures are an island-wide issue beyond our control, our property cannot be held responsible for unexpected blackouts.

While we do not have a backup power system on-site, we recommend keeping your personal devices charged whenever power is available and exercising caution during any outages.



Water Supply



Water service interruptions can occur across the island without prior notice, often due to country-wide water rationing measures managed by local authorities. As these outages stem from municipal infrastructure and government rationing, they are entirely outside our responsibility as an accommodation.

Because our property does not have backup water tanks, we will provide bottled water for your stay, with the quantity determined based on the length of your stay and the number of guests.



Hurricane and Storm Policy



While we strive to provide a safe and comfortable stay, we cannot control nature or municipal utility failures.

Refunds: No refunds of any kind will be issued for weather-related causes or general utility outages in Puerto Rico.

Flexibility: In the event of a named atmospheric phenomenon, we offer the option to reschedule your stay, subject to calendar availability.



Guest Access:

You'll have full access to the entire apartment, as well as the property's shared amenities and common areas. Check-in is self-service via a keypad lock, with your personal code and directions sent ahead of arrival. A dedicated parking spot is included on-site.



The Neighborhood:

Castellana Gardens is a quiet, residential pocket of Carolina, Puerto Rico, just minutes from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport and a short drive from the beaches and nightlife of Isla Verde. It's a low-key home base — closer to daily errands and an early night's sleep than to the tourist strip, but never far from either when you want it.



- Parque Julia de Burgos — a nearby park, good for a walk with a pet if you're traveling with one, a few minutes away

- Isla Verde Beach — about a 10-minute drive for a beach afternoon without leaving the metro area

- Old San Juan — historic forts, cobblestone streets and the Paseo de la Princesa, about 25 minutes by car

Getting Around:

Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) is about 8 minutes away by car, making this a convenient first or last stop on a Puerto Rico trip. Uber runs reliably across the Carolina/San Juan metro area, including 24/7 pickup at the airport, and works well if you're skipping a rental car. For day trips to Old San Juan or El Yunque National Forest (about 40 minutes away), a rental car offers the most flexibility, and local taxis are available on request as well.

- Check-in begins at 4:00 PM local time.

- Checkout is at 11:00 AM local time.

- To ensure a smooth arrival for incoming guests, please honor the checkout time.

- Unauthorized late checkouts will incur an additional fee.

- The reservation must be booked by a legal adult; children are welcome to stay as part of the group.

- Once you complete your online check-in, you'll receive the instructions to access the property.

- To meet legal and building security requirements, you may be asked to provide a government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact info, complete our verification portal and, in some cases, a background check. This information is collected only for screening/verification purposes and is not stored or used otherwise.



Utilities & Weather in Puerto Rico

- Electricity Management: Due to the energy situation in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, power outages can occur from time to time. This property does not have a backup generator. During an outage, we recommend keeping devices charged in advance and being mindful of perishable food.

- Water Supply: This property does not have a backup water tank. In the event of a water service interruption, we recommend using water sparingly until service is restored.

- Extended Outages: If an outage lasts more than 3 hours and you choose to stay, you may request a refund for the affected nights. If you'd prefer to cancel the remainder of your stay, you may request a refund for the unused nights.

- Hurricane & Storm Policy: We want your stay to be safe, but weather is out of our control. No refunds are issued for weather-related cancellations; however, in the event of a storm, we're happy to help you reschedule, subject to calendar availability.
