Upstairs are a spacious family bathroom and three charming bedrooms: a super-king-size with a shower room, a king-size, and a twin which can be made into a super-king-size. Outside, relax on the decked patio, with outdoor furniture and a lawn, plus a handy outdoor shower.

Thriving Trevone houses a pub, a village shop and a tearoom, along with an art gallery. There’s also a beach shop, a cafe and a surf store. Adjoining Rocky Beach is perfect for rock-pooling and crabbing, with a natural swimming pool at low tide. Explore Padstow’s narrow streets leading to the busy working harbour with its colourful fishing boats. You can snap up the catch of the day for supper or dine out at one of the town’s renowned seafood restaurants. Take a boat trip along the coast aboard the veteran Jubilee Queen, and walk, or hire a bike, for an amble through lovely scenery along the Camel Trail.
