This is a beautiful house set on an idyllic property. The management company was very communicative throughout. It was easy to get in the house via the programmed smart keypad lock (no key). The bedrooms were lovely and the kitchen had everything we needed. Overall, the decor was very eclectic, which totally suited us. They had all the little touches that make for a fun stay. In addition to the living room, there was this amazing sunroom/great room with couches and a dining table, to hang out in and look out onto the property to watch the wildlife. It had an old-time record player and records, some games, and a broad assortment of books to read. There was a fire pit and barbecue outside.

There really wasn't anything not to like! A few caveats, though. Be prepared to drive quite a bit on rural, slower roads to get to the house. Bring food, or you'll need to drive a distance to get to grocery stores and restaurants. There is nothing close other than gas station convenience stores, a couple of farm stands, and a few specialty (expensive) markets. I thought the per night cost was a bit high for the location, but typically the Catskills have higher priced accommodations no matter where you stay, so not a negative comment. We couldn't find certain things around the house referenced in their instructions, like laundry detergent to wash towels (their request, not a requirement), and we couldn't find where to throw the trash (also not a requirement). There were a few broken/non-working items - microwave, heated towel bar, some lights - but nothing major. I informed the management company handling this property about these items and they responded right away.
