Shower temperature was difficult to control

The staff was very nice and welcoming. There are comfortable sun loungers upstairs where you can relax and soak up the sun. The staff allowed us to stay there even after the checkout. The design of the rooftop is beautiful. The bathroom is well designed.

The Room: At the last minute, just before check-in, we were informed that we would be given a room overlooking the inner part of the building. This ruined a big part of our stay, as there is absolutely no sunlight on that side. It was especially disappointing when traveling to sunny Spain specifically to enjoy the sun. If you are given a room on this side of the building, I definitely don’t think it is worth the money. The room itself was very small. The water pressure in the shower was very poor, and the shower mixer tap barely worked. The Hotel: The hotel is still unfinished, which is probably why there is no proper common area where you can relax in the evening. There is only a small lobby by the reception, so otherwise you are basically left to go back to your tiny room. The space feels quite uncomfortable and poorly thought out, especially considering how much you pay for the stay. I have stayed in many four-star hotels, and while the design here may look beautiful aesthetically, from a usability and functional-space perspective, there is simply nowhere to go. We ended up paying quite a lot of money just to spend our time elsewhere instead of actually enjoying the beautiful hotel we had seen in the photos. The Pool: The pool is extremely small and only came up to my knees. It’s basically there just for a quick dip rather than for actually swimming or relaxing.

Es war etwas klein und das Bett sehr eng für zwei Personen. Ich hätte mir mehr Möglichkeiten zum Aufhängen von nassen Tüchern gewünscht.

Update: Nach meiner ursprünglichen Bewertung hat sich das Hotel nochmals ausführlich bei mir gemeldet und meine Kritik sehr ernst genommen. Mein Geld wurde inzwischen ebenfalls zurückerstattet. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich, dass das Hotel die angesprochenen Punkte – insbesondere die fehlende Kommunikation und das mangelnde Follow-up – nicht mit der Neueröffnung entschuldigt hat, sondern Verantwortung übernommen hat und die internen Abläufe verbessern möchte. Meine ursprüngliche Bewertung entsprach meiner tatsächlichen Erfahrung. Die professionelle und ausführliche Reaktion des Hotels im Nachhinein möchte ich jedoch ausdrücklich positiv erwähnen.

Die Kommunikation nach meiner Kritik war leider nicht zufriedenstellend. Auf meine E-Mails wurde nicht reagiert; erst nach meiner negativen Bewertung erhielt ich eine Rückmeldung. Immerhin hat das Hotel nun reagiert und sich die Zeit genommen, auf meine Kritik einzugehen.
