Hotel Digreis

I booked this hotel for my parents who were visiting, and I am SO glad I did! My parents are very discerning travelers (Marriott die-hards) and there were no brands they "recognized," so I chose this new hotel in Vlorë. From the moment they arrived, they were treated like VIPs- greeted with a big smile from Klara, and shown to their room with help with their luggage. Within 10 minutes my mom sent me a text- the room was perfect! A big, modern bathroom, plenty of space to unpack, a lovely balcony to relax on, and my mom really appreciated the kettle and "big" mugs for tea. The next morning I met them for breakfast and they said they slept amazing- it was quiet, dark, and the bed was one of the best they ever slept in. And then the breakfast- they both like different foods, and they both found so many items in the buffet to their liking. When we set out for the day, the beach is only a 2 minute walk, and it's right in the middle of the Lungomare strip of restaurants, cafes and shops. They were thrilled with everything, and I was so proud I picked the perfect hotel for them!

The property is clean and good value for money.

It is lacking atmosphere and the staff would benefit from some hospitality training.

De receptioniste Clara; zo oprecht vriendelijk en behulpzaam! De locatie en de kamer met balkon. Prima ontbijt.

This is a new hotel, only open a few months and I see a very bright future ahead of it. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location was great. The beach was less than 2 minutes to walk to,, there was a shop just across the street, and numerous restaurants. The breakfast varied every day and the coffee was wonderful. The front desk staff were very helpful and nice. I was travelling alone and ended up extremely sick with food poisoning (not from the hotel but a different establishment). It was an extremely comfortable bed to be stuck in for 2 days. The staff were so incredibly kind and helpful, checking in on me and seeing if I needed anything. Even though I was alone and feeling awful I felt comfort knowing they were keeping an eye on me. A special shout out to the cleaning ladies who treated me with such kindness, I really appreciate you and am so grateful.
