GuestReady - The Crescent

This is my second time staying at the property, super convenient and clean. The access is very easy using codes and with one issue the team resolved it quickly 💪

Great location. Very clean, comfortable and surprisingly spacious given everything that is in the room.

Common theme as some other reviews, the room is very warm. An electric fan is provided which does help but you can still feel the heat. Can also hear every single footstep of the room above, no matter what time of night or morning it is. Very noise in that sense but thankfully I heard no loud talking or other noise.

We chose the Guest Ready as we knew the location having stayed a couple of doors down in the Crescent, Bloomsbury a couple of years ago.

We extended our stay by another day. This lead to the existing booking being cancelled and replaced by a new booking. Details of check in instructions attached to the old booking disappeared at this point. We arrived early and asked for the check in instructions. Reply said. 'We are confirming the instructions and will send them to you shortly. Kindly notice check-in is scheduled for 15:00'. The next message offered early check-in at additional cost. We replied, thanks but no thanks, we will wait outside until 15:00pm. We await the check-in instructions. The messages go back and forth. At 15:00pm I write ' It is now 3:00pm. We are still waiting for check-in instructions. Reply finally comes at 15:11 with the Check-in instructions. After we leave we get a message saying what an absolute pleasure it was to host us during our stay. More AI BS. Never saw a soul from GuestReady. How could it be an absolute pleasure for the host?

Great location

When arrived room wasn’t cleaned after the last guest. Had to call them to get it cleaned when I arrived back the room felt like it was rushed and not properly cleaned. Tv had dirty marks on it and found black hair on the floor. They did not leave any toilet roll reported it and they said they will bring some next day!! Bathroom had a bad odour from the drain, reported and been told at first there’s extra charge for cleaning but they just cleaned the bathroom again but the odour was still there after. The room was tiny not ideal for two people never mind one person. Very little space between the toilet and the sink. If there was a bigger person staying they would struggle. I’ve bumped my toes on the chair and bed many times had to move the chair on the other side of room.
