De bedden, niet comfortabel

First of all, I would like to mention the stunning view from the apartment, as well as the wonderful hosts Jacques and Sophie, who were so attentive to our needs. The apartment is located in a safe, charming upscale neighborhood of Nice, set in a hilly area featuring luxurious mansions. The apartment is comfortable and super clean, equipped with everything one might need during the stay. Our wonderful hosts provided us with great choice of food for breakfast :) Public transport is within walking distance, and a supermarket is a 5–10 minute walk away. Great choice of any kind of beaches. You can easily walk to the rocky beaches, or take public transport (or drive or rent bikes in the supermarket near the house :) ) and go to the Nice public beach as well as visit Villefranche-sur-Mer and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat if you prefer pebble or sandy beaches. Wonderful seafood restaurants in the port btw :) We enjoyed our stay to the fullest! Amazing time!

Jack was a very kind host, he tried to make us a comfortable as he could. We really loved the view. The blow dryer worked well, the washing machine was a nice feature as well.

We were aware there was no AC before we booked, but the bedroom gets awfully stuffy at night so we had to crack open the window. The window did not have a screen and we were eaten alive by mosquitos. I write this message with three large welts on my face. We were also only provided 2 hand towels for bathing. The bathroom is very small which is fine, but the sink is under the counter so it makes it very hard to brush your teeth. The shower head was also broken and would not stay up, so we had to hold it the whole time while bathing. Finally, the location is just okay, not as accessible as anticipated and difficult to get into town. We ended up using Lime bikes, but had to park them 1/2 mile away in a parking zone and walk up hill from there to get home. It is very difficult to get an uber from the location as well, we waited more than 30 minutes for a driver to pick up our ride to the airport. Perhaps renting a car may have been best.
