Escape to the mountains at this spacious 2,615-square-foot log home in San Juan River Village, where towering pines, beautiful mountain views, and easy access to Southwest Colorado's outdoor adventures create an inviting retreat. With a wrap-around deck, gas grill, and plenty of space to relax and gather, this light-filled lodge is an ideal home base for exploring Pagosa Springs in every season.
Inside, the warm log-home character creates a comfortable place to unwind after a day outdoors. Large windows fill the living spaces with natural light while offering views of the surrounding woodlands and San Juan Mountains. When you're ready for some friendly competition, gather around the Ping-Pong table for an evening of fun.
Step outside onto the wrap-around deck to enjoy the peaceful setting among the pines. Fire up the gas grill for an outdoor meal, start the morning with coffee surrounded by mountain scenery, or simply take some time to relax and enjoy the fresh Colorado air.
Outdoor recreation is right around the corner. A stocked fishing pond is nearby, while fly fishing access on the San Juan River is within walking distance. The house was nice and clean exactly as presented.

This house is in a great location for skiing Wolf Creek and is the perfect size for 2 families of four (what we had) or a really large family. Kitchen is very well equipped, with things like a slow cooker and a blender and lots of pots and pans. We liked the bar seating that let us feed the kids at the bar while the adults ate at the dining table, and the gas fireplace is nice. Beds were reasonably comfortable with plenty of sheets, blankets, etc. Washer, dryer, and dishwasher work well. It’s more functional than fancy, which worked well for us: some people might complain about things being a little run down but it was fine for us. My only complaints are that the house was full of dead flies (literally hundreds) when we arrived (although Vacasa gave us a reasonable refund to compensate for our cleaning them up), there was a mouse or rat that kept us awake with loud gnawing sounds a couple of nights but we saw no visible signs of; and the ping pong table was not usable due to the condition of the net. So I wouldn’t call it a high end property but it suited our needs pretty well.

This home is perfectly situated - close to town but tucked away in the pines. It has all the amenities needed for a family and we had an excellent week there. Can’t wait to return!
