It was clean and comfortable.

I informed the guesthouse in advance that we would arrive at around 6:00 a.m. I had paid for the stay starting on September 30, as we were arriving early in the morning on October 1, and my request was accepted. However, when we arrived, there was no one at the reception. They answered my phone call, but unfortunately, I could not understand Uzbek or Russian, and they were unable to communicate in English. After several attempts to call and message the guesthouse without receiving a response, I went upstairs and found an available room. I then sent them a message informing them that I had found an available room and went to sleep. I was also not aware of the additional city tax, as it was not included in the initial price. Overall, everything worked out well in the end, but I would have appreciated it if they had sent me a message beforehand to confirm that the room was ready and explain how to access it, especially since we were arriving very early in the morning.

We had an excellent stay at Dilbar Guest House in Samarkand. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. A huge thank you to Sherin and her husband Aziz for their exceptional hospitality, kindness, and helpfulness. They made us feel truly at home. The accommodation was spotless, comfortable, peaceful, and very well equipped. There is also a large shared kitchen where guests can prepare breakfast or meals, which is a great advantage. The location is simply outstanding. The main attractions of Samarkand, including Registan Square, are within easy walking distance. The neighborhood is lively, with plenty of shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby. We highly recommend this guest house to everyone. If we return to Samarkand, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you once again for such a wonderful experience!
