Bardolino stands on the eastern riviera of Lake Garda, 30km from Verona, and is one of the best-loved places on the lake, not only for the beauty of the lake there, but also for the beautiful countryside and hills behind.

Just a few kilometres from Bardolino is Lake Garda's famous amusement park "Gardaland" and, for those who appreciate the art cities, Verona is a particularly interesting spot for cultural visits. Venice can be reached in an hour by train from the station at Peschiera. It is world-famous for the production of the excellent red wine "Bardolino", ruby red or rose, which is produced in the large vineyards on the hills all around the town.

The old town centre, dominated by the tall belltower of the church of San Severo, is full of attractive houses and streets where you can admire historic architecture and masterpieces of art and of the local history. The villa lies in the village of Cisano 2km from Bardolino, in a very panoramic position overlooking the lake. The villa was built in the middle of the 1800s and still maintains the atmosphere of that time in the furnishings as well.

The wardens live in a house next to the villa and have separate entrances and external spaces.
