The Neighborhood:

The Winter Residence building was built right on the Motława River in the Old Suburb, just a few hundred meters south of the icon of Gdańsk – the famous Crane. The brick facades and high gables of the building refer to the port tradition of the city. The architecture of the building brings to mind the complexes of tenement houses characteristic of the Hanseatic city. The building is reflected in the waters of the Motława River, from which it is separated only by a strip of greenery. The area is full of museums, art galleries, theaters, churches, marinas, restaurants and beauty salons. There are bus and tram stops 300 meters away, and Długi Targ is just a 9-minute walk away.
