Welcome to Family Nest—a place where childhood comes alive again and shared memories are made.
Inspired by the world of Astrid Lindgren, our nests tell stories of freedom, imagination, and the feeling that children are allowed to simply be children.
Here, children laugh, romp, cuddle, and dream—just like in the best days of childhood.
Designed with lots of love, the rooms combine adventure and a sense of security:
colorful, lively, and full of little details.
Located in the heart of Cuxhaven, nestled in the city park, near the North Sea beach and the Wadden Sea, our “nests” can accommodate up to 6 people—with a family bed, living area, kitchen, game room, and everything you need for your getaway together.
We’ve tried to include everything here that we’ve found missing in other vacation apartments for children:

no expensive vacation rates

no extra charge for multiple children

Family-sized beds and plenty of space for everyone

Child-friendly design

Playroom: everything you need to stay in good spirits even when the weather’s bad

Handcarts, strollers, and everything else that makes your stay easier can be booked as add-ons

Shopping service (in advance or during your stay), Organizing couple time and childcare is available as a nice extra—PGJyPg—PGJyPg—PGJyPg— Please note that construction noise may occur during the period leading up to 30.11.2026 due to construction work. We appreciate your understanding and apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
