12A Regency Square

A very convenient location, close to the seafront and shops. Regency Square is aptly named, being a four-storey terrace of early 19th century date, and therefore of great historical interest.

My room was up three flights of stairs. Not ideal for an older person with a weak bladder. There is also a strict No Smoking rule in the property, meaning smokers must descend to the Square itself for the first cigarette of the day. There is also no hot water or breakfast provided.

Unfortunately the room had loads of dust, the bath needs replacement because it has damaged parts and I did not use it because of the look of it and the sound from the generator coming from the window is horrible. The view very poorly to dirty rooftops and the bed super noise and pretty uncomfortable. The kettle very dirty inside I did not use it either and the sink in the bathroom had hair stuck so overall poor cleaning and attention to detail. Lamps need cleaning too and behind the bed.. Also there is no parking so we had to pay full day parking rate outside the hotel fee
