What a fantastic property. Steps from the beach, modern, immaculate, comfortable, great deck and views. The fridge came stocked with fruit, bread, eggs, and wine, and there was a complimentary decanter of raki as well. The kitchenette was perfect. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat - I can’t imagine there’s a nicer place in all of Matala.

Very picky detail - the lighting was bright white LED, and not dimmable. It felt more like an operating room than a guest room. They did provide a couple of soft white lanterns to light the room when we turned the overhead lights off.

Absolutely exceptional accommodation in one of the most beautiful locations in Matala! ❤️ The room is located directly above the beach and has its own terrace with a stunning view of the sea and the famous Matala caves. It’s hard to imagine a better location. The room was spacious, beautiful, and very well equipped, with a fully equipped kitchen, bathrobes, and slippers. What impressed us the most, however, was the incredible hospitality of the hosts. The fridge was stocked with fruit, yogurt, bread, eggs, butter, honey, and even a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. We have never experienced anything like this at any other accommodation, and it was such a wonderful surprise. Khora may not be the cheapest place to stay, but for us, it was worth every penny. The combination of the perfect location, amazing views, excellent facilities, and the hosts’ thoughtful care made it one of the best places we stayed during our trip around Greece. We would absolutely stay here again! ❤️

The incredible view from the Executive Suite. The greeting and hospitality of Mr. Michaelis (the father of Dinos). A true Cretan Gentleman! Superb spacious balcony (with amazing fragrant fresh herbs) and fabulous location overlooking the sea and the caves of Matala! Lots of generous offerings from the hosts including fresh orange juice, fruits and water (both sparkling and still). Super clean and the bedding, towels (beach towels included) everything smelt divine!

The toilet and sink area were somewhat small. We found the pillows to be too big, personally we prefer softer duckfeather pillows. Extremely loud music from one particular bar over on the far side of the bay resonated until the early hours. In my opinion, the local owners and other residents have to complain and address this problem. We wanted to chill and enjoy just the sound of the sea but had to listen to this very loud, annoying sound echoing around the entire bay of Matala.

Amazing location for enjoying Matala, with views of the caves and the ocean. Upon arrival, the fridge was stocked with food and drinks to make a lovely breakfast. Very easy to communicate with our hosts. Municipal parking lot very close by. Definitely recommend staying here!
