No WiFi. For travellers these days WiFi isn’t a ‘nice to have’, it is essential. There is a presumption that all foreign travellers have bought data packages, and not need WiFi. This is not the case

The location and apartment were fantastic - great views and so close to all the bars and restaurants. The property owner was also very understanding when we mistakenly packed some phone chargers that belonged to the apartment, allowing me to post them back a couple of days later when I returned home.

We booked and paid online, entering that there were 2 adults and 2 teenagers. However, I was then shocked to then get a phone call from the property owner advising that the listed cost on booking.com was wrong and that I needed to transfer him another $60 or so because of the second bedroom being used?? He wouldn't give me the access code to get into the apartment until i sent proof of transfer. Given we had arrived at the property and were keen to get inside and rest, I transferred the money despite my surprise and misgivings. Also, even if it was a booking for just 2 adults, both bedrooms might have been used anyway?
