Canon Stay

The facilities were excellent. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything I needed for an overnight stay (I used the fridge, freezer, sink etc). The bedroom was comfortable and fairly quiet (considering proximity to the Royal Mile I'd expected it to be noisy at night but it wasn't) and there was even a view towards Arthur's Seat. The host had provided extras like shower gel in the bathroom and the whole experience was positive. I had a question about luggage storage and contacted the owner before the stay. They got back to me quickly with a friendly and helpful suggestion. The location is great for Edinburgh Waverley station and lots of sights.

The duvet provided was a really warm one, which would have been good in winter but I'd have appreciated a thinner one as an option (I took the cover off and just used that).

Ubicación cerca del centro y pegado al parlamento. Habitaciones amplias pero con el baño compartido.

Se trata de un piso con 4 habitaciones que se venden por separado y el único éspacio común es la cocina con dos mesitas y 4 sillas. Estaria bien tener unas sillas plegables ya que si coincides desayunando con otras habitaciones no te puedes sentar.

The beds were very comfy and the facilities were very clean. It was a great location. Clear instructions for check in and check out.

The outside entrance is a bit scruffy and smelt of urine. I guess this is because it's an open gateway off an alleyway so men would likely use it as a place to wee on a night out. Maybe a security light with a sensor would fix this problem...
