Groceries & Pharmacy



Woolworths Auckland City

76 Quay Street, Auckland CBD — approximately 1.8 km away. While it may be a little too far to walk with groceries, it is a convenient option if you are travelling by car and also has a pharmacy.



24-Hour Medical Care



White Oak, Greenlane — approximately 4.8 km away, around a 10-minute drive. Morning visits are generally recommended, and the staff are friendly and helpful. A consultation fee applies. Prescriptions can be filled at the Woolworths pharmacy mentioned above.



Closest Petrol Station



BP Connect Fanshawe Street

104–108 Fanshawe Street, Auckland CBD — approximately 3 minutes by car or 10 minutes on foot from The Sebel Viaduct Harbour. Open 24 hours and home to a Wild Bean Café, making it a convenient stop for fuel, coffee, or a quick bite.



Viaduct Harbour



One of Auckland’s most vibrant waterfront precincts, the Viaduct is filled with excellent restaurants, bars, cafés, and scenic harbour walks. Visit the New Zealand Maritime Museum or head to Silo Park, where free outdoor movies are sometimes shown in the evenings.



The Viaduct is also a great starting point for exploring the Hauraki Gulf. Ferries depart from nearby for beautiful destinations such as Waiheke Island, Tiritiri Matangi, and Rangitoto. Whale and dolphin cruises are also available.



Federal Street & Sky Tower



Located beside the iconic Sky Tower, Federal Street is a lively dining and entertainment destination. You will find a great selection of restaurants, cafés, and bars, along with SkyCity and its casino.



For an unforgettable experience, dine at the top of the Sky Tower and enjoy panoramic views across Auckland. Thrill-seekers can also experience the SkyWalk around the tower.



Aotea Square



Aotea Square is at the heart of Auckland’s cultural scene. The surrounding area is home to Auckland Town Hall, Aotea Centre, Event Cinemas, The Civic, and Q Theatre.



The square itself is a pleasant place to enjoy a coffee, relax, and watch the city go by. During winter, the outdoor ice rink is a popular attraction.



Albert Park, Art Gallery & Auckland Domain



Albert Park is a beautiful green space in the city centre, perfect for a relaxing stroll, reading, or enjoying a quiet break.



Right beside the park is the Auckland Art Gallery on Wellesley Street. Continue along Wellesley Street, past the University of Auckland and across Grafton Road, and you will eventually reach Auckland Domain, one of Auckland’s largest parks.



The Domain is home to the Auckland War Memorial Museum and beautiful gardens, making it well worth exploring.



Karangahape Road (K Road)



Known locally as K Road, Karangahape Road is one of Auckland’s most eclectic neighbourhoods. Head up the hill from Queen Street to discover an alternative nightlife scene featuring lively bars, live music, cafés, shisha lounges, and plenty of affordable takeaway options.



Ponsonby



Just west of Auckland CBD, Ponsonby is known for its charming character, historic architecture, boutique shops, stylish cafés, bars, and excellent restaurants.



It is a great area for an afternoon or evening out, particularly if you are looking for quality dining and a more upscale neighbourhood atmosphere.



Queen Street & High Street



Queen Street, Auckland’s main shopping and entertainment street, is packed with shops, cafés, restaurants, bars, and live music venues.



Be sure to explore High Street as well, which runs parallel to Queen Street. It is a lovely area to wander, shop, grab a coffee, or enjoy a meal, with some options that may be more affordable than those on Queen Street.



Getting Around:

There is the SkyBus to and from the Airport to the city, or via taxi. For trains, buses, and ferries: Britomart bus and train station/Wynyard Wharf Ferry Terminal and Downtown Pier 4. You can also use the Lime Scooters to get around the city, as well as Uber (or Zoomy – NZ’s version of Uber).

Monthly Stays: We have a 10% discount factored into the price if you book for 28 nights or more.



Key Pick-Up: The key will need to be picked up from a secure location in the Viaduct (office is called Keyp-It and it is located to the left of 16 Market Place), which is a 3 minute walk or 3 min drive away from the apartment. They provide 24/7 access to keys via lockboxes. This is a different location to the property you’ll be staying at. Please double-check if this suits you and ask us if you have any questions or concerns before booking. They also have free WiFi access at Keyp-It in case you need the internet to contact us. We will send you the full check-in instructions on the morning of your arrival date.



Parking: This property includes a secure underground parking space for your convenience and peace of mind.



Personal Check-ins: We can arrange for someone to meet you at the property for a $85 fee. Please inquire before booking to check availability - we will need at least two days notice to guarantee someone can meet you.



Check-in Time: Check-in time is after 3pm. If you need to check-in earlier, then please double-check with us first so we can confirm availability.



Amenities: We provide a starter pack of amenities to last you the first few days of your stay: 450ml shampoo and conditioner, 450ml bodywash, 2 x tea/coffee, 3 x toilet paper rolls, 1 pack of laundry powder, 1 pack of dishwashing powder, dishwashing liquid, cleaning spray and wipes, but you will need to purchase your own amenities after these run out. Please do not take the large refillable bottles provided as we’ll need to charge for replacement.



Linens: We provide a full set of linens for each bed, a hand towel, face cloth and shower towel per guest. Extra linens can be provided for a fee. Please inquire before your stay.



Useful businesses in the area:



1) For groceries- Woolworths Auckland City, 76 Quay St, with a pharmacy, 1.8 km., it’s too far to walk but very handy by car.

2) 24 hour medical; White Oak, Greenlane 4.8km. It is a shortish 10 minute drive. Mornings are best, the staff are wonderful. There is a modest charge to attend. Any prescriptions you receive can be fulfilled at the Woolworth’s pharmacy mentioned previously.
