There is something genuinely special about staying in a building with history — and the Les Douanes at the Presqu'Île de la Touques has it in full. A beautifully restored 19th-century customs house between Deauville and Trouville, it delivers five-star comfort within walls that have presided over this famous Norman coastline for well over a century. This two-bedroom apartment is one of the building's most generous layouts for six, with air conditioning and two shower rooms.

The apartment features a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and a living area with a double sofa bed and TV — all on a spacious floor plan. Two shower rooms, each with a separate toilet, keep the group's daily routine entirely frictionless. The equipped kitchen opens onto the living room and includes a coffee machine, Nespresso, toaster, kettle, and dishwasher. Air conditioning runs throughout, and free Wi-Fi is included. Covered parking is available at an additional charge.

The heated indoor and outdoor pools are open year-round and free for all guests, with hydromassage jets, counter-current swimming, and a paddling pool. The sauna and hammam are included, and the Algotherm Spa — sensory showers, salt cabin, relaxation room, and expert treatment rooms — is available as a paid wellness option with preferential rates on booking. The fitness studio is also free.

The casino, beach, racecourse, and designer boutiques of Deauville are all on the doorstep, with Trouville's harbour and fish market just across the bridge. Deauville airport is 7km away, and the train station is a three-minute walk.
