Famille hyper gentille.J ai dormi dans une chambre privée avec salle de bain pour le prix d un dortoir.3 dinner avec la famille c etait très bon.

This property is close to the hills on the Western side of Mu Cang Chai.
Path next to it leads right up into the rice paddies high above.
The most I paid for a homestay dormitory in Vietnam.
I wasn’t shown where the bathroom was.
I eventually assumed I have to share it with what I found. And it wasn’t adequate.
I had no privacy.
The price I was quoted on Booking was not the same as I was asked to pay.
It was shocking and embarrassing at the same time.
Vietnam is one of my favourite countries and this is my third time here.
So when I find a situation like this we’re a homestay owner clearly trying to inflate their fees just because I’m a foreigner; It annoys me.
Why do you do this?
Why can’t you be hospitable like the rest of the people in Vietnam?🇻🇳
