The popular market town of Shaftesbury is just a ten-minute drive away, and Byre House is perfectly situated for exploring the delights of the Cranborne Chase, the county of Dorset and neighbouring Wiltshire. For those wishing to explore the wonderful Jurassic Coast, the popular destinations of Studland, Swanage and Sandbanks can all be reached in around fifty minutes by car. A trip to the cathedral city of Salisbury takes just over thirty minutes, where you will find a large selection of shops, cafes and restaurants.
