The Islander condominium is located on Holiday Isle, which is a peninsula surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor. This destination is sure to please. The Islander features two pools, two hot tubs, lighted tennis courts, two elevators, shuffleboard, covered grill gazebo, onsite fitness center, and private beach. This complex also features a wheelchair accessible beach ramp plus a chair lift into the pool. Make your next beach memory at The Islander.

An easy walk along the beach will take you to the jetties, where the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor meet, a spot well-known for great snorkeling and fishing. Here you can also watch boats going out deep sea fishing and returning from gulf to harbor.
The Islander is perfectly located next to Destin Harbor, where you have access to and can enjoy a sunset dolphin cruise, snorkeling, parasailing, wave runner and paddle-board rentals.

Overall it was great. The location is great for being private. The location for me was not good as far as I had to get in my car to go anywhere. When you have a wheelchair that’s not convenient. There is no stores or shops on the premises or within walking distance. I give them a 5 overall. It was very clean and the staff was nice. It was well furnished with linens. The pools were really nice.

Guest bedroom bed slates broke day 1 but we managed. Vacuum cleaner filter disgusting and full of dirt and would not work. Stain on the ceiling in the dining area. Interior needed a paint job. Master bedroom matress was very lumpy. One of two elevators were not operating. Microwave surface light over the range/oven did not work. Toaster bottom hatch was broke and where crumbs are removed was taped together the electrical tape. Nice nespresso machine but could not find espresso pods at grocery store. Pool and outdoor areas were excellent. Beach access was excellent.
