A cosy, well-organised interior creates an inviting setting for unhurried holiday days. The living, dining and kitchen areas flow naturally together, making it easy to prepare a meal, gather around the table or settle onto the corner sofa. Wood details and woven accents bring a warm, natural feel to the contemporary space, while windows frame leafy surroundings and allow daylight to filter inside. The compact layout feels sociable without sacrificing places to relax.

Oude Pekela lies amid the peaceful landscapes of eastern Groningen, an area shaped by waterways, farmland and pockets of nature. Days can be spent cycling along quiet routes, walking through the countryside or watching for local birdlife. For a change of scene, Winschoten offers shops, cafés and historic streets, while the fortified village of Bourtange provides an atmospheric excursion with its star-shaped defences, old buildings and museums.
