Enjoy a stay in this contemporary holiday home, where large windows connect the interior with the green surroundings. The accommodation has a modern, compact layout with neutral tones, wood-effect flooring and simple natural details. The living and dining areas share one open space, with comfortable seating beside a dining table. Large glazed doors bring in plenty of daylight and open directly towards the outside. Colourful cushions and plants add character to the otherwise understated interior.

Oude Pekela lies in the province of Groningen, an area known for its canals, open countryside and extensive cycling routes. Explore the local landscape on foot or by bike, visit nearby Winschoten for shops and cafés, or spend time around the lakes and waterways of Blauwestad. The historic fortified village of Bourtange makes an interesting excursion, with its star-shaped defences and preserved buildings. Groningen city is also within reach for museums, restaurants and lively streets, providing an easy contrast to the quieter surroundings of eastern Groningen.
