Welcome to Elk & Oak Treehouse Lodge! Located in the heart of Massanutten Resort, this property was designed with families in mind. While you are enjoying the hot tub, sauna, multiple firepits, and fully stocked kitchen, the kids will be thoroughly entertained in our custom built treehouse, movie room, game room, bunk room with spiral slide, and more. With 7 bedrooms, the house sleeps 18 comfortably. Plus, pet friendly! Managed by New School Hosting.
The house is about a 7 minute drive to the slopes, pool, and dining at Massanutten, 4 minutes to the spa, and just 5 minutes to the indoor/outdoor Waterpark. The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park is 15 minutes away with some of the best hiking on the east coast. JMU and everything else in Harrisonburg is 20 minutes away, and there are several breweries, wineries, and restaurants within 20 minutes of the house.

- Large sectional sofa around one of 3 propane fire pits
- Custom-built treehouse with spiral slide
- Additional couch on deck with propane fire pit
- Dining table for 6 with outdoor TV plus a gas grill under covered pergola
- Small ping pong table on the screened-in porch
Main level:
- Living room with wood burning fireplace, large smart TV, and oversized sectional sofa
- Fully stocked eat-in kitchen with stainless appliances, island with 2 barstools, and coffee bar. Small kitchen table seats 4.
- Dining room with space for 10-12 at the table.
- BR4: King bedroom
- BR5: Bunk bedroom with 2 sets of twin-over-full bunks, spiral slide, and small air hockey table
- Hall full bathroom that serves BR4 and BR5
- Half bath
- Laundry room
Upstairs:
- BR1: Primary bedroom suite with king bed, desk area, and ensuite bathroom
- BR2: King bedroom
- BR3: King bedroom with cute little dog bed area for your pup
- Hallway full bath serves BR2 and BR3
Also upstairs, but not connected to the other part of the upstairs where BR1-3 are:
- BR6: King bedroom
- BR7: King bedroom
- Hall full bath serves BR6 and BR7
Downstairs:
- Game room with pool table and 3 arcade machines with multiple games each
- Theater room with 2 large recliner couches (each couch has 3 seats that independently recline- 6 seats total)
Other things to note:
- Elk and Oak Treehouse is pet friendly! We allow up to 4 pets with a $100 pet fee (total, not per pet or per night).
- Massanutten offers hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, swimming, dining, spa, ropes course / zip line, golfing, go carts, mini golf, and much more.
- The driveway can hold about 6 cars. There is an overflow parking lot available in Massanutten if needed.
- Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and decks.
- All bedrooms, living room, rec room, theater room, and deck all feature smart TVs where you can access all the main streaming services. We do not subscribe to cable.
- We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options.
- Guests can enjoy community pool access in the summer season for a small per person fee.
- Linens and towels provided
- Pack n play, high chair, and kid dishes/utensils provided.
- We do require a separate rental agreement, which we will send a link to e-sign after you book. There are no additional fees beyond those listed here.
