A high timber-and-tile ceiling gives the living space a distinctly traditional Tuscan identity, bringing architectural character to everyday moments indoors. Beneath the exposed beams, a wooden dining table creates a natural gathering place for shared meals, while the kitchen sits conveniently alongside behind a broad counter. Framed prints and a classic chandelier add to the understated country-house atmosphere, with daylight filtering in through the window. The swimming pool provides a refreshing outdoor counterpart to the rustic interior, especially after exploring the surrounding countryside. Murlo is steeped in Etruscan history, with archaeological finds displayed in the village museum, while wooded hills and rural lanes invite walking and cycling. Further afield, Siena offers medieval streets, grand architecture and lively piazzas. The landscapes towards the Val d’Orcia reveal another side of Tuscany, with historic hill towns, vineyards and local trattorias providing plenty of reasons for leisurely day trips.
