The open living, dining, and kitchen area makes it easy for everyone to gather. The kitchen is fully equipped for meals at home and includes a Keurig, blender, air fryer, and everyday cooking essentials.
Step outside onto the private balcony to enjoy views of the Gulf of Mexico, Mobile Bay, and the surrounding Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge. The balcony includes seating for relaxing as well as a dining table for four.
Guests also have access to The Indies' shared amenities, including the swimming pool, hot tub, fitness center, rooftop observation deck, and grilling areas.

The Blue Heron Retreat is newly redecorated and boasts a
relaxed southern beach-cottage style with airy 10-foot ceilings.
It is a comfortable gathering space for families, couples, and friend groups. It is especially well suited for nature lovers, snowbirds, golfers, fishermen, couples, girls' trips, and anyone who prefers a quieter coastal stay away from the busiest parts of Gulf Shores.
Guests have private use of the entire condo and balcony, plus shared access to The Indies' pool, hot tub, fitness center, rooftop observation deck, outdoor shower/rinse station, charcoal grills, elevator, and beach boardwalk.
The neighborhood of Fort Morgan offers a peaceful, nature-rich stretch of the Alabama coast with uncrowded beach time and easy access to fishing, kayaking, hiking, biking, birding, shelling, and golf. Nearby highlights include Fort Morgan Historic Site, Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, the Mobile Bay Ferry, Kiva Dunes, and Peninsula Golf Course. There is a Restaurant (Tacky Jacks 2) and a Marina directly across the street and a boat launch approximately one mile down the street. There are multiple restaurants within a short 15 minute or less drive (Jessie's on the Bay, Sassy Bass, and several options at The Beach Club). Central Gulf Shores is roughly a 40-minute drive away, giving guests a quieter home base with busier attractions still within reach

Blue Heron Retreat is not directly beachfront. The beach is approximately a 300-yard walk from the condo via the community boardwalk. We think the short walk is well worth it for the beautiful Gulf, Mobile Bay, and nature preserve views from our top-floor location!

Pool, hot tub, fitness center, rooftop deck, grills, elevator, and beach access are shared community amenities and may occasionally be affected by weather or association maintenance.
