The outdoor spaces are what sets this cabin apart - a three story tower with a sitting area perfect for coffee or cocktails, a huge screened porch with a spectacular live edge table and massive stone fireplace, a sun deck, and a covered front porch complete with two rocking chairs from which to enjoy the sounds of the river.

The home is set on the 16th fairway of the Mt. Mitchell Golf Course. Although currently closed for renovation, the course is a beautiful setting and offers opportunities to hike right out the back door.

Inside, the warm and inviting great room is designed for gathering and relaxation. Soaring vaulted ceilings create an airy, dramatic feel while a massive floor to ceiling wood burning stone fireplace anchors the space as the perfect focal point for cozy evenings.

The open layout flows seamlessly from the living area featuring a large plush sectional to a generous dining table that seats a crowd, making family meals easy and enjoyable. A stylish chandelier and soft lighting add a touch of elegance without losing the rustic mountain character. Hardwood floors run throughout and large windows and glass doors bring in natural light and mountain ambiance.

The fully equipped kitchen has the same high-end cabin aesthetic with granite countertops, two stone-based bars, warm wood cabinetry, and modern appliances (including a dishwasher and coffee bar). It is open to the living and dining spaces, so the cook never feels separated from the conversation.

Also on the main floor is the family room/entertainment area centered around a full-size pool table and large screen TV. Plenty of comfortable seating - including a pull-out sofa for additional guests - and a wide variety of board games suitable for all ages provide the perfect spot for evening fun and family time.

Upstairs find 3 bedrooms – the primary with a queen bed, outdoor access, and luxurious en suite bath with dual sinks, jetted tub and separate shower, a secondary queen bedroom along with a portable crib, and third bedroom with two twin beds. The second upstairs bath contains dual sinks and a bathtub/shower combination.
