The house sits in Exambela, a traditional village about a twenty minute walk from Apollonia, the island's capital. It was built in the nineteen thirties in the local Cycladic style and has been in our family since.
A few years ago it was renovated discreetly. The aim was to add the comforts you'd want today without disturbing the character of the house, the thick whitewashed walls and the unhurried feel.

The property has two separate buildings. The main house has a living room and dining area with a small open kitchen, one bedroom with two single beds, and a bathroom accessed from outside. The second house has one bedroom with a double bed , one smaller room with two beds for children and a bathroom.

The houses are surrounded by a vineyard, lavender, rosemary and trees. There is a shaded dinning area outside facing east over the Aegean, with Paros and Antiparos on the horizon. The sunrises here are worth waking up for.
The two buildings are not rented separately.
Apollonia is a twenty minute walk, though there is a bus stop just outside the house. The nearest beach is a ten minutes drive. There is no dedicated parking, but the main road is a hundred meters away and spaces are usually easy to find.
