The Space:

Once abandoned, now reimagined — The Museum is a 90-year-old home transformed into a design-forward stay in the heart of Sangenjaya. Thoughtfully renovated to preserve its original charm, the space features high ceilings, traditional interiors, and a curated collection of original antiques that tell a story.



Ideal for families and small groups, this 75m² two-story home includes cozy tatami rooms and preserved details throughout. A solid Japanese stone marks the first step into the house, leading to a steep, traditional staircase that connects the floors.



The sleeping arrangements include:

• Bedroom 1: Queen-size bed

• Bedroom 2: Three Japanese futon mattresses (tatami room)

• Bedroom 3 (1st Floor): Sofa bed by France Bed

• A crib is also available upon request



Whether you're seeking creative inspiration, a quiet getaway, or an authentic Tokyo experience — The Museum offers a stay unlike any other.

Walk to Sangenjaya station takes about 6 minutes, And from there to get to Shibuya: Approximately 5-7 minutes by train or bus, or 1,000-1,500 JPY by taxi Shinjuku: Approximately 20 minutes by train or bus, or 2,000-2,500 JPY by taxi Harajuku: Approximately 15 minutes by train or bus, or 2,500-3,000 JPY by taxi Omotesando: Approximately 10 minutes by train or bus, or 2,500-3,000 JPY by taxi Shimokitazawa station is also accesible by a less than 20 minute walk and to get to Tokyos airports: Haneda Airport: Approximately 45-60 minutes by train or bus, or 6,000-7,000 JPY by taxi Narita Airport: Approximately 90-120 minutes by train or bus, or 25,000-30,000 JPY by taxi
